JOB SUMMARY

The Point Of Care Marketing Manager will be a seasoned marketing professional, accountable for leading, developing and implementing local marketing plans that focus on expanding care protocols and education to advance the standard of care in support of company operations and region-specific commercial strategies. 

Leveraging global strategies and best practices in consultation with regional and country level commercial leaders to ensure stakeholder engagement, commercial execution and optimal return on marketing investment. 

As part of this process, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring a range of high-quality marketing projects, initiatives & campaigns to deliver profitable revenue growth, by developing existing and new business, and ensuring customer awareness of the IDEXX brand and solutions.

You will act as the local interface with relevant sales and customer facing teams on Care Protocol and be responsible for implementing marketing processes, activities and programs that enhance IDEXXs position in the market through the communication of the end-to-end customer experience with IDEXX.

[Primary Duties & Responsibilities]

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the development and execution of country-specific marketing, channel, and training plans for Care Protocols in alignment with global marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with the Regional Marketing Lead and the Korean commercial team to implement global product and business strategies, including go-to-market plans covering pricing, communications, pre-sales support, and activity planning.
  • Translate global Care Protocol strategies into locally relevant marketing initiatives.

Program & Campaign Development

  • Plan, develop, execute, and monitor high-quality marketing programs, initiatives, and campaigns to support new and existing business growth.
  • Identify, design, and guide the development of customer programs, promotions, and tools tailored to independent customer segments.
  • Participate in new product launch teams, supporting product development, commercialization, and launch execution.
  • Create new marketing programs and manage tactical execution through cross-functional leadership.
  • Program performance monitoring & analysis to drive commercial program optimization.

Annual Pricing

  • Lead the development of annual pricing strategies for Care Protocol–related products and services, grounded in a strong understanding of the company’s growth strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and environmental analyses by integrating macroeconomic conditions, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop strategic pricing approaches at the SKU level, ensuring alignment with product positioning, value propositions, and customer segments.
  • Optimize pricing across the overall product portfolio while minimizing internal cannibalization and cross-portfolio conflicts to achieve sustainable revenue and margin growth.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, and Global stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business performance targets and go-to-market plans.
  • Establish clear pricing rationales supported by data and insights, and effectively communicate pricing recommendations through structured presentations to internal stakeholders.

Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the local interface with sales, customer support, training, and other customer-facing teams in the Care Protocols
  • Drive engagement and utilization of marketing programs in the field through active collaboration with customers and commercial teams.
  • Support and deliver product and program training to sales and customer support teams.

Customer Experience & Communication

  • Strengthen IDEXX’s market position through the communication of end-to-end customer experience.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality sales and marketing materials, including customer stories, brochures, videos, leaflets, direct mail, email communications, and digital content.
  • Analyze customer communication effectiveness and support tactical implementation of messaging.

Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support planning and execution of trade shows, congresses, and industry events.
  • Develop thought leadership, education, and advisory programs to reinforce IDEXX’s leadership and influence in the market.
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry associations, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), policy stakeholders, and reference site customers.

Budget, Performance & Process Management

  • Manage the local marketing budget in regards to Care Protocol Marketing, including evaluation and monitoring of campaigns and marketing investments.
  • Track, administer, and analyze marketing programs, metrics, and performance outcomes.
  • Develop and improve marketing processes to ensure high-quality cross-functional collaboration and execution.
  • Manage literature updates and support the development of new marketing assets.

Market Insight & Analysis

  • Analyze and track customer needs, behaviors, market trends, competition, and government/regulatory policies to generate actionable market insights.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis with emphasis on pricing, competition, and service portfolios to improve profitability and identify future growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement qualitative and quantitative market research to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and market positioning.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Guide and support marketing specialists across the region to build marketing capabilities and accountability for key initiatives.
  • Contribute to a One Team culture, working collaboratively to maximize customer and business value.

[EDUCATION]

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree or equivalent preferred.

[EXRIENCE]

  • 10+ years’ experience total with above 6 years of marketing is essential
  • Experience in animal health industry highly valued, health human healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or related industries also desired
  • Previous positions in multinational highly matrixed organizations highly valued
  • Strong experience in B2B marketing (B2C experience valued but not required)
  • Experience in people management adds value
  • Project experience within matrix organization
  • Digital marketing expertise is valued

Professional Skills / Knowledge

  • Experience launching new products or services into competitive markets; able to generate adoption and customer engagement.
  • Advanced Business Presentation Skills in English & Korean essential
  • Proficient in the use of CRM databases and marketing automation techniques
  • Experience analyzing markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing decisions.
  • Strong learning agility which can bring professional insights with business acumen
  • Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • Innovative, with strong accountability and high levels of initiative
  • Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Proven ability to lead projects independently with minimal oversight; demonstrates bias-for-action; accountable for end-to-end delivery.
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders for a positive business marketing outcome

  • Ability to interact and understand customer needs by being infield with commercial teams routinely

Financial Management

  • Ability to plan, report and manage financial budgets and to manage risk and financial resources to the required level of accuracy and integrity

Marketing Process Management

  • Hands-on experience in planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns, including multi-channel initiatives.
  • Ability to acquire and apply knowledge of IDEXX’s sales and marketing processes, tools and techniques
  • Ability to manage marketing activity, budgeting and forecasting

Business Understanding & Market Knowledge

  • Ability to build an understanding of the customer’s business, industry and commercial environment to then identify viable opportunities
  • Able to navigate complexity and prioritise resources
  • Leverages modern marketing tools to reach new customers and accelerate adoption.
