Our KaTech Plant in Wesenberg (Holstein) is a Made‑to‑Order production site specializing in the blending of customized texturizing ingredient solutions, serving diverse customer and market requirements.
What you will do:
- Lead safe, compliant, and efficient site operations across production, maintenance, site engineering, IPS, facility management, and the on-site warehouse
- Champion a strong culture of EHSS, Quality, and Food Safety, ensuring full compliance with Ingredion standards and all applicable legal requirements
- Ensure reliable production and delivery performance aligned with quality specifications and customer service expectations
- Own overall site performance by managing KPIs, driving capacity and cost optimization, and delivering productivity, reliability, and continuous improvement results
- Manage manufacturing fixed and variable costs, including target setting, monitoring, and delivery of sustained year-on-year efficiency improvements
- Provide strong disciplinary and technical leadership, developing talent, building capability, and defining qualification and training requirements across the site
- Oversee critical site programs and resources, including CAPEX planning, maintenance execution, HACCP, Food Defense, Environmental and Halal programs, as well as coordination of materials, external service providers, and site services
What you’ll bring:
- Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
- Extensive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food and or chemical
- Proven experience providing disciplinary and technical leadership in a plant or production setting
- Strong project management and engineering capability, including experience with CAPEX and operational optimization
- Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
