Placement Executive
Placement broking role focused on Property/ISR solutions for Large Corporate Clients Opportunity to learn and grow with a collaborative group of placement professionals across multiple product and industry disciplines. Partner with clients to assist them on their journey in a dynamic market environment. Represent Aon broking team in the market negotiating directly with insurers in Australia and via Aon’s Global Broking Centres. Placement Executive You will be part of a multi-disciplined Placement team with specialist brokers across a range of product classes. Reporting directly to our Complex Property Placement Leader you will work closely with a team of colleagues both within Placement and client service segments (Global & Corporate / Specialties) of our business. This role directly manages the placement outcomes on a range of Global & Corporate accounts across our Health, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Aged Care and Education portfolios and assists Senior Placement Brokers on Aon Australia’s largest and most complex accounts. What the day will look like Working with the client service teams and broking colleagues to develop and implement innovative strategy to better respond to evolving client needs on a range of distinct and diverse client portfolios across clients key product lines with a heavy focus on ISR/Property but also exposure to Liability, Environmental Liability & Commercial/Heavy products. Engage with key stakeholders on all elements of insurance program marketing from client strategy, insurer negotiation, technical analysis and presentation of results. Supporting colleagues to represent both Aon and our clients’ interests with insurance markets to negotiate favourable coverage, pricing and terms. Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel within the local insurance market. Work with Aon’s in house Technical Wording Team on policy advice for clients. Maintain oversight of the placement of programs to encourage proper adherence to Aon’s ‘go-to-market’ strategy with client managers and support staff. Participating in the direction and execution of our insurer strategic partnership strategies. Monitor the insurance market to maintain up to date knowledge of the overall market environment. Provide direction and risk management advice to client management associates. Skills and experience that will lead to success Relevant / comparable Degree qualifications preferred but not required ANZIIF Tier 1 Compliant Strong ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Ability to solve and makes decisions on complex/non-routine business requests. Ability to work with diverse external stake-holders, with focus on developing and integrating best practices across Aon. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment with management, peers and other colleagues. Supports change within the organization, taking steps to remove barriers or to accelerate its pace. Strong and effective negotiation skills/experience and ability to work in a consulting capacity.
