Pipe Stress Engineer - NPP
- Delivery of piping stress and flexibility analysis
- Works with Hexagon Pipe stress software
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assigned by the Pipe Stress Lead Engineer
- Co-ordinate with piping expert designers
- Manages their own workload
- Master project methodology, procedures, codes (EN 13480) and standards
- Experience in checking A3 piping isos drawings and associated MTOs
- Ensure QC for compliance with nuclear projects
- Perform technical review of design deliverables produced by colleagues in line with quality procedures
- Makes use of 3D models (Navisworks)
- Liaise with other engineers and CAD designers (HVAC & Support) when required
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experienced in piping analysis with Hexagon Pipe stress software
- Skilled in piping design, supply, (pre)fabrication, erection and tests
- 5 years + on piping engineering calculations
- Knowledge of piping European code (EN13480) and experience in nuclear industry
- Proactive, rigorous and well organized
