The Role

We’re hiring a Statamic-savvy PHP Developer to help us build, extend, and scale our marketing site and CMS-driven properties. You’ll work across SEO infrastructure, landing page systems, sitemaps, template creation, and API integrations.

This is a hybrid marketing-engineering role — ideal for a technically fluent dev who thrives working with content teams, marketers, and designers to deliver performance-optimized, SEO-compliant pages fast.

Key Responsibilities

Statamic & Laravel Development

Build and maintain Statamic-based templates, structures, blueprints, and collections
Extend Statamic with custom addons, filters, or tag modifiers as needed
Maintain and optimize Laravel PHP code that supports CMS logic

Site & Content Infrastructure

Help manage thousands of SEO pages, JSON feeds, and markdown/html hybrid structures
Automate structured content pipelines and taxonomy-based rendering
Maintain dynamic sitemaps, canonical logic, and localized versions if applicable

SEO, Speed, & Structured Data

Ensure every page adheres to performance and SEO standards (LCP, CLS, Core Web Vitals)
Embed schema.org structured data where applicable
Support custom Open Graph rendering and Twitter card logic per page

Integrations & Automation

Build lightweight integrations (e.g., forms, analytics, review widgets, newsletter signups)
Collaborate with marketing ops for GA4, GTM, and event tagging
Assist in CI/CD workflows for safe deployment across dev/staging/prod

Ideal Background

3–7 years PHP development experience
Strong Statamic v3+ experience (Pro license, multisite, content APIs)
Familiar with Laravel (8+) ecosystem and PHP modern standards (PSR, Composer)
Experience working with SEO teams, marketing teams, or content-heavy sites
Familiarity with Git workflows, deployment processes, and CLI
Bonus: TailwindCSS, Alpine.js, Vue.js for front-end interactivity

Success Metrics

Improve Statamic page build times and performance scores
Launch 10–20 new SEO pages per week with template reuse
Reduce content team dependency on dev for small edits (empower control panel UX)
Maintain 100% uptime and zero regressions across environments
Contribute to CMS roadmap and internal documentation for scaling content ops

Bonus Experience

Working with AI-generated content at scale (markdown/JSON parsing, dynamic fields)
Familiarity with Netlify, Vercel, or DigitalOcean hosting workflows
Background in YMYL or healthcare content delivery
Experience collaborating in Notion + Slack-driven async orgs
