The People Associate plays a critical role in supporting the People function across Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, employee lifecycle support, and core People initiatives. This role is well-suited for a results-oriented HR professional with a minimum 5 years of experience who is eager to grow as a generalist, contribute to recruiting efforts, and support a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

The People Associate must be adaptable to evolving technologies and processes, able to learn new systems quickly, and contribute to continuous improvement and transformation across People operations.

 

Key Accountabilities

Employee Relations & Reporting Support

  • Support end-to-end employee relations processes for both non-union and union populations; conduct investigations, coordinate documentation, track cases, and assist with intake and follow-up.
  • Assist with exit interviews and documentation related to employee separations.
  • Support preparation of People metrics, dashboards, and reporting under the guidance of People leadership.

Talent Acquisition

  • Support and execute the Talent Acquisition process, including requisition intake, job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer administration.
  • Conduct initial candidate screens and support a positive, inclusive candidate experience aligned with RXR values.
  • Partner with hiring managers and People leadership to support hiring timelines and structured interview processes.
  • Assist with recruiting-related projects, including process improvements, reporting, and recruiting playbooks.

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Support managers and employees across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, internal transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Provide guidance on People policies, procedures, and day-to-day employee questions, escalating sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating People documentation and internal People resources.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to continuously improve People processes and service delivery.

Technology, Systems & Process Improvement

  • Demonstrate fluency with AI as well as HR and recruiting technologies; demonstrate ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Assist with systems optimization efforts, including testing, documentation, data validation, and adoption of enhancements.
  • Embrace change and contribute to scalable, efficient People processes in a growing organization.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Employee Relations and Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, or a related People function.
  • Experience supporting recruiting and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with HRIS (ADP preferred), ATS (Greenhouse preferred), or other People systems in an evolving or transformation-oriented environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ChatGPT or similar AI tools, familiar with Visio.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary/rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g. location, years of service, specialty, education, relevant experience).

Bonus eligible. 

Pay Range
$75,000$85,000 USD
