Job Summary: The Payroll and HR Administrator is responsible for processing payroll for employees, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and knowledge of payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for employees
- To work closely with Payroll vendors, Finance team and to provide general HR support.
- Support business goals and create a positive and dynamic environment.
- Effectively work with business to drive and maintain a proactive audit that facilitates smooth Payroll and maintaining records in a timely manner.
- With expertise in the areas of Payroll and Admin activities, this role encompasses a broader spectrum of activities related to calculation, distribution of employee salaries, handling employee queries and conduct Induction/Exit Interviews.
- Accurate and timely payroll processing is crucial for maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with legal regulations (as per labor laws).
- Handling employee concerns and fostering a culture that aligns with the organization's values.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and central payroll laws and regulations
- Note Payroll inputs, Handle PF queries, conduct Induction and Exit interviews.
- Coordination with Payroll vendor, Employee Benefits and PF Team.
- Manage end-to-end Payroll process and PF related activities.
- Ensures maintenance of tools and systems related to Payroll.
- Support team with the overall administration activities as/when required.
- Participates as team member on the HR initiatives.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments
- Submit payroll reports and filings to relevant authorities
- Manage year-end processes (e.g., tax forms, reports)
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in payroll administration or a similar role
- Strong understanding of labor laws and tax regulations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office tools
Education and Experience
- Minimum – Degree in any field with relevant experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
