Package Consultant-SAP HANA SCM SD
Role Summary
The Senior SAP SD Consultant will be responsible for leading SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) implementations, enhancements, and support in an S/4HANA or ECC environment. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, configure the SD module, manage integration with other modules, and ensure successful delivery of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP SD Functional Expertise
- End-to-end configuration in SAP SD covering
- Sales order processing
- Delivery & shipment
- Billing
- Pricing (Condition technique)
- Credit & risk management
- Master data (Customer, Material, Pricing)
- Expertise in O2C cycle with crossfunctional touchpoints.
2. Requirement Gathering & Solution Design
- Conduct workshops with business users to capture requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documents, and configuration rationale.
- Design scalable, robust solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
3. Integration Knowledge
- Strong integration experience with:
- SAP MM (procurement & logistics)
- SAP FI/CO (billing, revenue accounting)
- SAP PP (ATP, planning)
- EWM/WM for logistics
- Experience with thirdparty systems via IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs.
4. Testing & Go-live Activities
- Prepare and execute Unit, SIT, and UAT test scenarios.
- Support data migration activities, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
- Ensure smooth hypercare and production support postimplementation.
5. S/4HANA Skills (Preferred)
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Sales.
- Understanding of:
- Business Partner (Customer/Vendor integration)
- Simplified data model
- Fiori apps related to SD
- Knowledge of AATP, advanced returns, and embedded analytics.
6. Support & Enhancements
- Handle change requests, incident management, and continuous improvements.
- Coordinate with ABAP team for custom developments.
