We are looking for a Process Engineer to work with our client in the packaging industry, to join their team in Central Florida
What you will do: - Assess packaging processes to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Establish and apply centerlining standards for packaging equipment to ensure stable and consistent performance.
- Work closely with automation engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and fine‑tune machine parameters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally with exposure to packaging systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with an emphasis on process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Hands‑on experience with packaging machinery such as shrink wrappers, case packers, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
- Familiarity with robotic packaging technologies (Yaskawa or comparable systems) and automated packaging lines.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
