Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is a real estate financing solution that enables commercial property owners to upgrade existing buildings or complete financing packages for new construction projects. PACE Loan Group (PLG), one of the first lenders to offer this financing tool, is a leading direct lender in this space and is growing across the country.

We’re hiring a Marketing Manager who treats marketing as a competitive advantage. This role is about using marketing to win deals, grow market share, and help position us as the clear leader in the C-PACE market. We want someone who takes the bull by the horns—someone proactive, decisive, and relentless about finding ways to support the sales team and drive results. Our ambition is to be #1, and we’re looking for a marketer who wants to help us get there.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and partnering closely with the Originations/Sales team and company leadership, this role will float between strategy and execution on a small, high-performing team in a rapidly growing national lending platform.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Business Growth

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate qualified opportunities and support loan originations

  • Partner closely with the Originations team to identify opportunities where marketing can help advance deals and expand relationships

  • Use marketing programs, content, and events to position PLG as a trusted leader in the PACE financing market

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage PLG’s marketing strategy across digital channels, content marketing, events, and industry partnerships

  • Identify target markets within the commercial real estate ecosystem and develop tailored messaging and content for those audiences

  • Manage the creation and distribution of marketing content across social media, the company website, email campaigns, and other digital platforms

Conferences, Events, and Business Development

  • Evaluate and coordinate conference and industry event participation to maximize lead generation and relationship development

  • Work with originators to develop targeted outreach and business development initiatives around key events and markets

  • Track conference ROI and manage follow-up marketing efforts with potential prospects

Marketing Analytics and Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance across channels to improve lead generation and conversion

  • Continuously identify new opportunities to strengthen PLG’s market presence and marketing effectiveness

  • Use data and analytics to guide marketing investments and strategic decisions

CRM and Marketing Systems

  • Manage and optimize PLG’s CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience strongly preferred)

  • Ensure marketing campaigns and sales outreach are coordinated and supported by strong CRM processes

  • Develop systems for tracking leads, engagement, and marketing-driven opportunities

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Manage marketing contributors and collaborate with external marketing professionals to execute initiatives

  • Lead weekly marketing and conference planning meetings to keep projects on track

  • Work closely with leadership to align marketing initiatives with the company’s business goals and evolving opportunities

Success in This Role

Within the first 12–18 months, the successful candidate will:

  • Establish a repeatable marketing engine that generates qualified opportunities for the Originations team

  • Strengthen PLG’s position as a leading brand in the C-PACE financing market

  • Build systems that connect marketing efforts directly to business development outcomes

  • Improve the effectiveness of conferences, digital campaigns, and outreach efforts

  • Implement marketing analytics that allow leadership to clearly see which activities are driving deals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • 5-10 years of experience in B2B marketing with increasing responsibility

  • 2-3 years of leadership or team management experience

  • Ability to operate at both the strategic and execution level

  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing and lead generation programs

  • Experience managing CRM and marketing automation systems (HubSpot strongly preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Experience in commercial real estate, finance, or a related industry is preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
