Machining

A door machinist (or door machine operator) operates Kval Architect, Edge, and Face machines to cut, rout, drill, and shape interior residential/commercial doors for hinges, mortise locks, flush pulls, etc.

Must be highly proficient in taking and calculating precise measurements, with some familiarity in reading machining specification sheets preferred but not required.

Training provided to read blueprints, setting up tools, and ensuring precision tolerances.
