OTC Accounting Internship

The OTC Accounting Internship offers you a great opportunity to be a part of global team operating in constantly changing environment to support daily operations of the Finance Department. Team members are expected not only to have skills to analyse data and surface takeaways, but will also participate in cross-functional decision-making processes. As an OTC Accounting intern, you will be responsible for daily accounting transactions such as maintaining customer balances, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and also to assist in financial analysis and enhance our financial and KPI reporting. You will work with an international team of analysts and accountants. - Follow the Order to Cash procedures and practices focusing on the Leasing products
- Understanding of lease accounting and revenue recognition
- Provide daily support in the fields of month-end close, variance analysis and audit
- Perform Accounts Receivables analysis
- Identify and analyse the root causes of outstanding aged Accounts Receivables items
- Prepare Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations
- Assist in external audit requests
- Involvement in projects with cross-functional teams to drive process efficiencies and systems improvements
- Gain knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Improve and automate financial reporting through tools like Excel and PowerBI
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting or related area
- Modeling Skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel; experience with Microsoft PowerQuery/Power BI and/or SQL is a plus)
- Ability to work independently, detail-oriented, and execution focused
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented
- Level C1 in English (written & spoken)
- Highly collaborative and team-player
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
