Oracle E-Business Suites DBA
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Equal Opportunity Employer is seeking an Oracle E-Business Suites (EBS) Database Administrator to join a team of professionals providing IT services to a large Public Sector client.
The work location is conveniently located downtown Chicago near all major public transportation channels.
We want to speak to talented EBS DBAs who are ready for a challenging, long term engagement. You will join a team of three (3) CAI EBS DBAs supporting the client’s ERP applications.
You will report to client’s DBA manager and will perform the following activities as directed:
Oracle database installation, patching, and upgrading
Application installation, configuration, patching, upgrading and cloning
Code installation
System and SQL tuning
Backup/recovery
Security implementation
System monitoring and health checks
SR support with Oracle
Standards/best practice implementation and enforcement
On-call/afterhours support on rotation basis
