OPERATOR
MISSION
Ensure the production required by the customer, with the established quantity and quality, and respecting established OHSE policies and procedures.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Carry out the operations defined in the working instructions.
- Control the quality of the pieces produced according to the production program.
- Achieve targets productivity rates and quality levels for the specific workplace.
- Perform level 1 preventive maintenance activities required for each machine/facility.
- Perform the part number, model or series changes required according to the production plan.
- Keep the 5S level of the workplace according to established standards.
- Be versatile at the level defined in the section/plant.
- Take part in the initial shift and monthly meetings.
- Suggest improvements to day-to-day operations.
- Train new employees with a lower level of versatility/poly-competence when necessary.
- Be trained in competences to become more self-sufficient in carrying out work.
- Follow the policies, procedures and rules defined for the plant employees.
- Use the production resources available and maintain them in proper conditions.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.
