Operations Coordinator, Waste and Logistics - (m/w/d)

We are looking for a motivated industrial coordinator to join our team at Tesla. Waste management and Logistics are at the heart of day-to-day operations. This role will be a part of the Facility Management team and responsible for the collection waste generated during the engineering process at our facility, as well as effectively managing inbound and outbound logistics.
The ideal candidate has solid experience with projects related to process improvements and has a track record of making real operational impact on productivity and/or costs reduction.
This position requires active participation on the shopfloor, demonstrating a hands-on approach for overseeing waste and logistics. A great opportunity to be part of our engineering journey. It is essential that the candidate is proactive in solving problems, as well as possessing strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues across various departments.
Build clear processes for effective waste and logistics management. Regularly inspect workflows and processes on the shopfloor for enhancement of productivity
Coordinate supplier procurement, negotiating expectations and ensuring the timely availability of maintenance supplies
Implement and enforce best practices for waste reduction and proper disposal in alignment with environmental regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects, supporting with technical specifications, cost estimates, project timelines.
Focus on costs and performance optimization throughout analysis of production processes, materials, and resource utilization
Few years of experience in industrial/process/operational roles, process optimization on shop floor, cost reduction projects, and continuous improvement projects
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrates personal leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge about waste regulations or previous work in Waste Management is a plus – training will be provided
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
