Operations Consultant
About the Role
We’re hiring an Operations Consultant to serve as a trusted execution partner to leadership and the operational backbone of our office. This role is built for someone who thrives at the intersection of clarity, ownership, and follow-through—a professional who understands that great execution begins before work starts, not after problems appear.
This is not a traditional administrative or support role—but it does include meaningful administrative work. The difference is ownership. You’ll wear many hats, handle critical details others overlook, and take pride in doing essential work exceptionally well because it keeps the business running.
Some days you’ll streamline workflows and improve systems. Other days you’ll manage schedules, clean up data, document processes, coordinate logistics, or drive follow-ups. You’ll view none of this as “busywork,” but as the foundation that enables everything else to function.
Just as importantly, you’ll act as an internal consultant, helping leadership define goals, success criteria, and constraints before projects begin—ensuring work is set up to succeed from the start.
What You’ll Do
Own Core Systems
Serve as internal super-user and owner of CRM/ATS and related tools
Maintain data accuracy, workflow consistency, and reporting integrity
Drive system adoption and become the go-to internal expert
Drive Execution & Follow-Through
Own action items from leadership and strategic meetings
Track progress, close loops, and ensure outcomes—not just reminders
Turn decisions into execution
Manage Office & Operations Logistics
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal logistics
Support planning efforts including events, travel, and team coordination
Lead Onboarding & Candidate Experience
Manage onboarding logistics, access, scheduling, and setup
Own critical onboarding and candidate experience details
Improve Processes & Documentation
Identify friction points and inefficiencies
Build clean workflows, SOPs, templates, and internal resources
Improve consistency, structure, and operational clarity
Growth Opportunity: AI & Microsoft Copilot
This role offers significant growth for someone eager to apply AI—especially Microsoft Copilot—to real business problems. You’ll experiment, implement, and document AI-powered workflows that improve documentation, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.
Ownership in this space directly translates into expanded responsibility and career growth.
What Success Looks Like
Leadership spends less time in the weeds
Systems are trusted, accurate, and clean
Fewer dropped balls and smoother execution
A calm, proactive, and organized office
This role is designed to be a force multiplier—amplifying leadership impact, team productivity, and business performance.
Who Will Thrive Here
You’ll thrive if you:
Enjoy wearing many hats, including administrative ones
Naturally define goals and success criteria before starting
Push for clarity and aren’t afraid to challenge vague direction
Take pride in ownership, execution, and follow-through
Love mastering systems and becoming the internal expert
Are curious about AI and motivated to apply it practically
Measure success by outcomes, not activity
Who Should Not Apply
If you want a role where every task feels strategic or glamorous, this isn’t the right fit. If you dislike administrative work, need constant direction, or prefer narrowly defined responsibilities, this role will be frustrating.
This role requires accountability, ownership, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
