About the Role

We are hiring an Onboarding Specialist to support and coordinate clinician onboarding during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience from offer acceptance through start date and early ramp.

You will be responsible for managing onboarding workflows, guiding clinicians through required documentation and system setup, and ensuring they feel informed and supported at every step. You will partner closely with Recruiting, Clinical Operations, and People Operations to ensure onboarding timelines are met and clinicians are fully prepared to begin their structured clinical ramp.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, responsive, and motivated by creating a rewarding first impression for our clinicians.


Job Duties

  • Own onboarding coordination from offer acceptance through start-date readiness

  • Guide clinicians through completion of onboarding tasks in Rippling, including payroll setup, tax forms, and policy acknowledgements

  • Initiate and monitor background checks through Checkr and follow up on outstanding requirements

  • Coordinate system access across Rippling, Ashby, Athena, and other internal tools

  • Ensure all compliance documentation and required credentials are completed prior to start

  • Manage onboarding communications to provide clear timelines, expectations, and next steps

  • Track onboarding progress to ensure clinicians are prepared for their structured clinical ramp

  • Maintain accurate and organized employee records across systems

  • Escalate delays or issues proactively to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

  • Identify small process improvements that enhance efficiency and clinician experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, recruiting coordination, or administrative support roles in a healthcare environment

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Clear, professional written communication skills

  • Comfort working within structured systems and workflows

  • Experience with platforms such as Rippling, Ashby, Checkr, Athena, or similar tools

  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding timelines simultaneously

  • High level of reliability, follow-through, and accountability
