Officer, Strategy Support- Fund Administration & Reporting

Who we are looking for:

A candidate with experience working in or supporting a fund administration & reporting environment (both financial reporting and fund performance).  An individual that can work across products and business units in response to application inquiry support, monitoring, report development, maintenance, and product enhancement in a fund administration environment.

What you will be responsible for:

As Officer you must:

  • Solve daily support requests for the business which include client setup, user maintenance, and data support.  Be prepared to provide rapid response in support of operational teams and troubleshoot towards solutions.   

  • Close collaboration within a support team is central to ensuring requirements are completed within agreed upon time, with adequate safeguards, and with the mindset of providing valuable results for the operational teams that utilize the products.

  • Maintain and develop client level reporting using crystal report in a rapid development lifecycle (intermediate level).

  • Manage projects and be prepared for competing requests due to supporting multiple business teams with varying priorities. Manage components of client onboarding activities including working with large datasets or defining requirements to operations.

  • Effectively use automation and make recommendations for support or processes.

  • Draft and update procedures for offshoring partners, ensures all supporting documentation is available and accurate. 

What we value:

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Understanding of Unity (Confluence), crystal reports, and the fund administration environment is needed.

  • Basic knowledge and experience with Visual Basic, SQL, or python is preferred.  The candidate will be working in troubleshooting or maintenance which requires any prior experience in working with code or data scripts.

  • Strong PC skills, specifically Excel skills (Intermediate).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Software or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in a Financial Reporting/Fund Administration field is preferred
