Office & People Operations Lead
The Opportunity
Weʼre looking for an Office and People Operations Lead to help launch and support our client’s first Latin American office in Santiago. This role sits at the intersection of people operations, hiring, workplace management, and local operational support. You will play a central role in establishing the office and ensuring the team on the ground can operate smoothly as the hub grows. This is a unique opportunity to build the foundations of a new international office from the ground up. In the early stages, you will help coordinate the practical elements of launching the Santiago hub - supporting office setup, assisting with hiring logistics, and working with internal teams and external advisors to ensure the local operation is ready to scale. Over time, the role will evolve into supporting employees locally while ensuring the workplace environment, hiring processes, and operational infrastructure continue to run effectively.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a generalist role with broad ownership. You will need to be comfortable switching between coordinating recruitment processes, working with vendors on office logistics, supporting regulatory or operational requirements, and helping create a positive, well-run workplace for the team. This role requires strong organisation, independence, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing environment.
What youʼll work on:
Every day will look slightly different, but here are some of the areas you will focus on:
- Support the setup and launch of the Santiago office, coordinating office logistics, vendor relationships and workplace readiness ahead of the teamʼs arrival.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring the workspace is well organised, functional and supportive of the team as the hub grows.
- Coordinate local hiring processes in partnership with the global People and Data Ops teams, including scheduling interviews, organising recruitment logistics and supporting hiring workflows.
- Help organise and run talent assessment days and recruitment events as we scale hiring in Chile.
- Build and maintain relationships with local universities and graduate pipelines to support long-term talent sourcing.
- Support onboarding and employee experience for the Santiago team, acting as the local point of contact for workplace and people-related questions.
- Assist with local operational and regulatory setup, working with legal, finance and external advisors to ensure the office is compliant and operational.
- Using your familiarity with local employment law, compliance and operational requirements, ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Help maintain a strong team culture and a well-run workplace as the team expands.
About You:

- Organisational strength: You are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities across hiring, workplace operations and administrative processes.
- Execution focus: You enjoy making things happen and ensuring plans translate into practical outcomes. Independence: You are comfortable operating with autonomy and taking ownership in a newly established office environment.
- Strong communication skills: You have intermediate / advanced English skills (need to be comfortable working in Spanish and English) and communicate proactively
- Relationship building: You are able to build strong relationships with employees, candidates, vendors and external partners.
- Adaptability: You are comfortable in a fast-growing company where priorities evolve and roles can expand as the organisation scales.
