This temporary position provides hands-on support to assist with closing an office location. The role combines document scanning and organization, light administrative support, phone coverage, and assistance with preparing office contents for storage, donation, or disposition.

Responsibilities:

  • Scan, organize, and electronically file paper documents according to provided instructions
  • Sort, label, and file physical records for storage or off-site scanning
  • Box files, office supplies, and small equipment for shipment or archiving
  • Assist with inventorying items to be retained, scanned, donated, or disposed of
  • Provide basic administrative support such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Provide phone coverage, answer and route calls, and take messages as needed
  • Assist with coordination of donation or pickup of office furniture and equipment as needed
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment during the close-out process
  • Follow confidentiality, document handling, and retention guidelines
  • HSD or GED is required 
  • 1-3 years+ administrative and office support experience
  • Comfort using scanners, copiers, and basic computer applications
  • Ability to manage phone coverage professionally and communicate clearly
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Reliability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout an office environment for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and items weighing up to approximately 25–40 pounds with or without assistance
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work around office furniture and storage areas
  • Comfort working in areas with packed boxes, storage items, and office equipment
