About the Role 

As our Ocean Freight Import Transport Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of specialists to deliver smooth, efficient and compliant ocean freight operations for the wharf. You’ll be at the centre of driving service excellence—maximising gross profit, improving productivity and managing escalations—while fostering a customer‑centric, high‑performance team culture. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead your team to execute all operational activities in line with global SOPs, service promises and regulatory requirements. 
  • Maximise gross profit and ensure productivity targets are consistently met. 
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as the first point of escalation for exceptions and irregularities. 
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that drive efficiency, cost control and operational excellence. 
  • Support and guide your team while fostering a culture of trust, collaboration and results. 
  • Maintain and support Transport Carrier Relationships / Management and KPI's for both FCL and LCL cargo 
 

To Be Successful, You Will Need 

  • A strong customer‑first mindset with the ability to oversee and uplift service quality at every touchpoint. 
  • The capability to minimise costs while maximising gross profit across all job files. 
  • Problem‑solving skills to resolve workflow or customer issues before escalation.
