Project Manager, AVP

This role supports the delivery of the Wealth domain’s technology roadmap by managing multiple projects and application enhancements. This role focuses on coordinating Agile teams, resolving project impediments, and collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery. This individual will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams within BOS and OCBC, leveraging knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management systems.
This role acts as a key facilitator between product owners, technology teams, and business units, helping to align priorities and maintain project momentum.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a master of collaboration and communication. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You'll need to be proactive, adaptable, and able to navigate complex technical landscapes.
What you do
Lead end-to-end project management activities for technology initiatives in the Wealth domain, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to align project goals and expectations.
Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring transparency and effective information flow.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies within the Platform teams.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Prepare and present project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 7-8 years of project management experience, preferably within financial services or wealth management technology.
Good understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Detail-oriented team player with a pragmatic approach.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience working within both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
Passionate about technology and the Financial Services industry.
