Investigations
Key Functions / Responsibilities

  • Support post-trade operations for Global Markets products (including FXMM, Derivatives, and Securities) and deliver high‑quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Execute post‑trade operational activities accurately and on time, in accordance with established procedures. This includes verification, settlement, accounting, monitoring of overdue contracts, and handling ad hoc investigations or enquiries.

  • Assess and manage complex situations, including deviations and exceptions related to trade discrepancies or settlement mismatches.

  • Handle failed trades and investigate cash or position breaks, following up with counterparties or agent banks for non‑receipt or failure‑to‑pay issues. Escalate to stakeholders as per the escalation protocol and ensure resolution by T+1.

  • Handle the preparation and posting of accounting entries, attend to GL matters raised by ACRS/FCM, and process adjustment entries as required.

  • Support UAT, system implementation, and process enhancement initiatives, including business‑driven improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Support business units and draw up new processes for new products to be launched from operational perspectives.

  • Ensure full compliance with internal and external regulations, and maintain effective controls to mitigate operational risks.

  • Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

  • Promote teamwork and support cross‑learning within the department to strengthen operational capability.

Customer Service

  • Liaise and work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure SLA/SLI requirements are met and that daily operational issues are promptly resolved.

Quality Initiatives

  • Identify areas to improve processes and straight through processing (STP) opportunities to continue to deliver improved processes with consistent quality.

  • Maintain high-quality work standards by ensuring zero defects and minimizing rework

  • Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to Treasury products. Fresh graduates with strong interest and willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly with good Excel skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management, independently and under pressure and able to handle extreme stress.

  • Ability to handle complications and manage complicated situations effectively.

  • Self-motivated and able to work as a team.

  • Possess positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Innovative mindset and constantly on the lookout to improve efficiency.
