Responsibilities
- Directs health care and clinical service delivery for the agency’s community-based group homes and day programs serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Supervises a team of field-based travel nurses (LPNs) in the performance of clinical duties.
- Provides specialized and other clinical training for nurses, direct support professionals, and department leaders.
- Ensures the agency meets regulatory and quality assurance standards in the delivery of health care within all programs.
- Travels to programs to review individual records, collaborate with para-professional team members, and evaluate nursing personnel performance on site.
- Acts as a member of the interdisciplinary team, attends clinical meetings, and participates in the applicant admission screening process.
- Communicates with families, guardians, funders, community medical providers, and interdisciplinary team members in client care planning and service delivery.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Social Services, or related healthcare field of study
- Must have healthcare management experience with multiple age groups
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal funding sources and other applicable
- Graduate of an accredited school/college with current registration of practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Excellent communicator with ability to handle concurrent tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to travel within assigned area
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
