About the role

With our ambitious growth strategy, the Sr Manager Compensation APAC plays a pivotal part in Nexperia's need to attract and retain the best talent. You will become a key member of the Global Total Reward Team. Within the Center of Excellence (CoE) of Total Rewards you will be leading the activities and programs in APAC. You are responsible for the design and execution of all compensation and employee benefits programs in the region and its local markets. Together with the other team members you will design and execute the global reward strategy for Nexperia.

You will report to the Global Head of Total Rewards and the role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


What you will do

  • Oversee the design, development, implementation and administration of rewards plans, policies, and programs, including long-term incentive (LTI) plans and bonus programs in the region and its local markets

  • Bring thought leadership and drive organization’s compensation and total rewards philosophy, strategy, and practices, ensure alignment with Nexperia’s mission and vision

  • Provide strategic input to executives and business leaders to ensure rewards programs are compliant, competitive externally and are aligned with markets in the region

  • Formulate (regional/local) total remuneration management policies to strengthen organizational competitiveness through attracting & retaining international talents

  • Oversee the design, iteration, and maintenance of the organization’s salary structure and job evaluation processes in order to maintain appropriate internal equity and external competitiveness

  • Collaborate closely with different levels in the HR community and other stakeholders to develop, deploy and execute corporate and local initiatives


What you will need

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 8 years of Compensation & Benefits management experience in an international organization and role. Furthermore, you have:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or HR

  • Decision quality

  • Project and program management skills

  • An effectively communication style

  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken

  • Strong presentation skills
