The Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure supporting critical customer-facing applications across global datacenters and cloud environments. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong networking fundamentals who is eager to grow, take ownership, and gain exposure to enterprise-scale networks. The Network Engineer serves as a primary point of contact for network-related support, works closely with internal teams, participates in scheduled maintenance windows, and contributes to network implementation and improvement projects.

This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong networking fundamentals who is eager to grow, take ownership, and gain exposure to enterprise-scale networks. The Network Engineer serves as a primary point of contact for network-related support, works closely with internal teams, participates in scheduled maintenance windows, and contributes to network implementation and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network performance and respond to alerts and incidents 
  • Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues through resolution 
  • Implement configuration changes using established change control processes 
  • Install, configure, rack, and cable network and server equipment 
  • Support datacenter and facilities provisioning, including power and cabling 
  • Assist with network provisioning such as IP assignments and circuit turn-ups 
  • Support security policy enforcement using multi-vendor solutions 
  • Maintain operational documentation and procedures 
  • Participate in weekly maintenance windows (Tuesdays at 3:00 AM ET) 
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation 
  • Travel to datacenters as needed 
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience with networking fundamentals and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP 
  • Experience with network operating systems such as Cisco IOS or NX-OS 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • Ability to work onsite at datacenters and the Philadelphia, PA office as needed 
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to learn in a production environment 
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Networking certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, or similar 
  • Experience with firewalls, preferably Palo Alto 
  • Familiarity with datacenter environments and physical infrastructure 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment
