Skills & Knowledge
• Possess a broad knowledge and understanding of user experience, web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 standards and practices, and WAI-ARIA for both desktop and mobile technology and Section 508.
• Stay abreast of accessibility regulations and compliance standards, best practices, and solutions that promote and enable accessibility.
• Possess exceptional written and oral communication, and technical documentation skills
• Ability to discern accessibility issues from design and code
• Ability to analyze and employ problem-solving skills to recommend the best solution
• Ability to analyze code for accessibility issues
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
• Mobile accessibility on various platforms including Android and IOS
• Ability to provide guidance and coach colleagues and clients in one on one, small group, or large forum environments
