National Contract Logistics Business Development Manager

As an National Contract Logistics Business Development Manager at Kuehne+Nagel, your primary objective will be to develop existing or new Contract Logistics business by coordinating all business development actions + triggering opportunities for larger accounts at a cluster level.
How you create impact
You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with our current commercial policy while focusing on the following key objectives.
- To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
- To lead commercial negotiations + create high quality business proposals.
- To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects within the specified vertical.
- To actively network + link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
- To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
- To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
- To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
- To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans for the specified vertical.
What we would like you to bring
At least 8 years of experience in contract logistics business development or a related field.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution
- Experience in leading a BD team to develop business in Singapore and Malaysia
