Training Specialist (L&D)
About Muvr
Muvr is building the future of on-demand logistics and moving services. Our platform connects customers with trusted drivers and crews to deliver large items quickly and reliably. As we scale our teams and marketplace operations, training is not a nice-to-have. It is how we protect quality, speed, safety, and trust in real-world execution.
Role Overview
The Training Specialist (Learning and Development) designs, delivers, and continuously improves training programs that make teams job-ready quickly and keep them effective as processes, tools, and workflows evolve. You will own onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing enablement for operational and support roles, partnering closely with Operations, Support, QA, Product, and People Ops.
This role is for someone who builds practical, high-impact training that drives measurable performance improvement, not content that looks polished but fails to change behavior or outcomes.
The ideal candidate also has hands-on experience using AI agents and AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity, learning design, documentation, or operational execution, and can translate that experience into practical training and adoption support for teams.
Key Responsibilities
1) Training Program Design and Delivery
- Design and facilitate onboarding programs, role-readiness training, and ongoing development sessions.
- Build structured learning paths for frontline, operations, support, and corporate roles.
- Support launches, tooling updates, and process changes with targeted, time-bound training plans.
- Deliver training in formats that fit the audience and business need, including live sessions, guided learning, and self-serve enablement.
- Support role readiness for evolving workflows, including AI-assisted tools and AI-enabled ways of working where relevant.
2) Content and Curriculum Development
- Create and maintain training materials such as SOP-based guides, slide decks, videos, job aids, quizzes, assessments, and knowledge base content.
- Translate complex workflows into clear, role-specific, step-by-step learning content.
- Keep materials current as policies, tools, and operations evolve, with strong version control and documentation discipline.
- Standardize training content so teams have a clear and consistent source of truth.
- Help develop practical training content for AI-supported workflows, including usage guidance, examples, guardrails, and quality standards.
3) Enablement and Adoption
- Partner with Ops, Support, and QA to ensure training reflects real workflows, real edge cases, and common failure modes.
- Build reinforcement systems that support behavior change after training, including coaching guides, checklists, scorecards, refreshers, and calibration sessions.
- Identify capability gaps and recommend solutions through training, workflow changes, documentation updates, or manager enablement.
- Help ensure process and tool changes are adopted smoothly with minimal confusion or execution drift.
- Support adoption of AI-enabled workflows by helping teams understand how to use AI tools and AI agents effectively, responsibly, and within role-specific expectations.
4) Measurement and Effectiveness
- Define success measures for each training program before rollout.
- Track training impact on readiness, performance, quality, productivity, and error reduction.
- Use feedback, QA insights, performance data, and manager input to improve training continuously.
- Document what changed, why it changed, and what results followed to improve future programs.
- Measure whether training for AI-supported workflows improves execution quality, consistency, adoption, and speed.
5) Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product on enablement for new features, tools, and operational workflows.
- Partner with People Ops and Operations leaders on role-readiness standards, onboarding quality, and capability gaps.
- Support managers with practical training resources, coaching guidance, and reinforcement plans that improve adoption.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure training is aligned with business priorities and real operational needs.
- Partner with functional leaders where needed to support rollout and enablement for AI-supported tools, workflows, or process changes.
6) AI-Enabled Productivity and Execution
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity, content development, research, documentation quality, and training execution.
- Apply AI responsibly to support learning design, updates, and enablement workflows while maintaining accuracy, relevance, and sound judgment.
- Use experience with AI agents to identify practical opportunities for faster content creation, better role-based enablement, and stronger workflow adoption.
- Help distinguish between shallow AI tool usage and practical, repeatable AI-supported workflows that improve real business execution.
