Role overview
The Delivery Manager (Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager) is responsible for ensuring operational and cross-functional initiatives are delivered smoothly, on time, and with high quality. This role focuses on coordinating teams, managing execution, and ensuring services and projects meet customer expectations and internal performance standards.
This role reports to Operations or Program leadership and partners closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketplace Ops.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Execution
- Own end-to-end execution of operational and service delivery projects.
- Build project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery frameworks.
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule and within scope.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate work across Ops, Product, Engineering, Support, and external partners.
- Manage dependencies, blockers, and tradeoffs.
- Drive accountability and clarity across stakeholders.
Service Quality & Customer Outcomes
- Ensure delivery processes meet customer expectations and service standards.
- Monitor delivery performance metrics and resolve issues quickly.
- Support continuous improvement in service execution.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders on delivery progress.
- Track risks, escalations, and resolution plans.
- Document outcomes, learnings, and best practices.
Process Improvement & Scaling
- Improve delivery workflows, tools, and repeatable playbooks.
- Support scaling of service delivery across markets.
- Help teams operate efficiently through structured execution.
Qualifications
Required
- 4–8+ years of experience in project management, service delivery, or operations roles.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional delivery in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing timelines, execution, and performance metrics.
- Bias toward action and operational excellence.
Preferred
- Experience in marketplaces, logistics, or on-demand service environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or product delivery workflows.
- Experience working with both technical and operational teams.
