Role Summary
The Brand Partnerships / Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, building, and scaling strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition, revenue, and brand awareness for Muvr. This role focuses on outbound relationship-building, deal execution, and partnership activation, working closely with Marketing, Revenue, and Operations to turn partnerships into measurable impact.
This role reports to Revenue or Growth leadership and partners cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Strategy & Sourcing
- Identify and prioritize potential brand, channel, and strategic partners aligned with Muvr’s target customers.
- Research markets, industries, and companies that present partnership opportunities.
- Develop outbound strategies to source, pitch, and engage partners.
Deal Structuring & Execution
- Lead partnership conversations from intro through negotiation and launch.
- Structure mutually beneficial partnership models (co-marketing, referrals, integrations, bundled offers).
- Coordinate internal alignment to ensure partnerships are operationally viable.
Activation & Performance
- Launch and manage partnerships in collaboration with Marketing and Operations.
- Track partnership performance against defined goals and KPIs.
- Optimize or sunset partnerships based on performance and strategic fit.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with partners through trust, communication, and execution.
- Act as Muvr’s primary point of contact for assigned partners.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing partnerships.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and co-branded initiatives.
- Work with Revenue and Ops to ensure partnerships drive real bookings and revenue.
- Provide feedback from partners to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–6+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or strategic growth roles.
- Strong outbound, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Experience taking deals from idea to launch.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple partnerships at once.
- Clear communicator with strong follow-through.
Preferred
- Experience in marketplaces, logistics, real estate, retail, or local services.
- Experience with co-marketing, affiliate, or referral partnerships.
- Data-driven approach to evaluating partnership performance.
