The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Multinational Programs Manager, as a Multinational Client Services Expert, you are responsible for maintaining close alignment with Underwriting and the Multinational Market Practice Leader to ensure holistic Program implementation and Delivery of Multinational accounts, including cross-functional end to end involvement with underwriting, operations, accounting, claims, credit control and brokers/clients. You will work closely with the Lead Operating Entity (LOE) Underwriter and Broker in the design and delivery of highly complex multinational programs ensuring continuous improvements of our programs and ensuring compliance with changing regulatory requirements. You will act as a champion and drive development of expert-level knowledge on country specific requirements for GCS/UW/Distribution/other functions. You will assume a global/regional mentorship role. You will ensure timely delivery and alignment with Standard Operating Entity (SOE) and Underwriters of SOE. You will proactively communication with the relevant internal and external stakeholders. You will manage an effective handover process, working closely with Operations to ensure correct and timely processing of multinational accounts. You will also support automation initiatives within the Multinational area.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
- Handling programs and policies of high complexity (i.e., complex reinsurance panels, captives structures, high premium/high visibility accounts).
- Reviewing and interpreting source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts / claims experience – and if required, escalation to the underwriter in case of missing information.
- In case of AZ multinational programs, steering implementation globally, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciling issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with the underwriter.
- Acting as mentor and trainer for team members and new joiners.
- Collecting and providing relevant information for renewal/quotation to underwriter.
- Using or providing (in case of renewal) all relevant information to accurately and efficiently prepare policy-set up and issuance as well as booking preparation for new and renewed business.
- Invoicing customers and producing all relevant documentation (e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements) to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives and re-insurers.
- Compiling manuscript wordings and non-standard policy wordings.
- Regular reconciliation and discussion of content with underwriter and broker/customer, including previewing revised broker wordings compared to expiring and providing suggestions to underwriters.
- Provide accurate and complete material (e.g., handover sheets) to Global Business Operations for all offshoring tasks and managing referrals received from SSU.
- Independently lead new business and renewal implementation meetings with Brokers and clients and proactively provide status updates on the progress of the global program.
- Managing own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met.
- Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and follow-up of all accounts in the respective responsibility and escalate, if required.
- Handling new business multinational submissions independently and ensuring a smooth program implementation for our brokers and clients.
- Achieving Life-cycle servicing by proactively practicing program (LOE) & policy (SOE) ownership to ensure our clients receive best in class multinational client services from both a global and local perspective.
- Developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers including brokers/clients, Underwriting, Credit Control and SSU and attending relevant internal and external meetings.
- Regular and extensive exchanges with clients regarding all account specific matters.
- Liaising with other countries to drive process improvement and harmonization of operational tasks on global basis.
- Chasing and reconciling premiums globally with all relevant partners (i.e., local SOEs, brokers, customer) in close collaboration with Credit Control to ensure timely premium payment, as well as coordinating premium chasing and reconciliation activities.
- Owning and nurturing relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Key Brokers, Risk managers, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts and Brokers, attending relevant meetings, as required.
- System Super User/Owner, representing the team in local, global and cross-functional projects.
- Conducting peer and quality reviews, UAT sign-off authority and provide instructions for specific topics on case-by-case basis.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate or specialty insurance;
- Project work experience either on the project management side or as project member;
- Experience in working in an international environment;
- Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience with relevant business applications and systems;
- Good understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages;
- Advanced understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation;
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail;
- Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making; and
- Ability to train and coach staff.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $72,000 - $90,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AGCS total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
