Position Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Multimodality CT Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Taylor Medical Center. This weekday evening position offers a consistent 3:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. schedule, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to work with advanced diagnostic imaging technology in a collaborative hospital environment.

In this role, you will perform CT and additional imaging modalities, supporting accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform high-quality CT and multimodality imaging procedures according to established protocols.

  • Maintain optimal image quality, positioning, and exposure factors.

  • Monitor and manage radiation dose reference levels and initiate follow-up when needed.

  • Utilize iSTAT point-of-care testing for creatinine levels when required for contrast exams.

  • Use AIDET communication to ensure a positive and professional patient experience.

  • Prepare and position patients using appropriate immobilization devices and techniques.

  • Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique policies.

  • Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.

  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • Verify requisitions, patient history, pregnancy screening, and exam documentation.

  • Maintain accurate records in PACS and EMR systems.

  • Assist with inventory management and departmental workflow improvement.

  • Willingness to serve as a preceptor and trainer for new and current team members.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program

Certification / Licensure

  • ARRT (R) – Radiography required

  • ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography preferred/required

  • Texas Medical Board (MRT) License required

  • BLS Certification within 30 days of hire

Experience

  • Multimodality and CT experience preferred

  • Hospital imaging experience strongly preferred
