The internship is a hybrid-remote position working two days per week in the MPA office in either Sherman Oaks, CA or Washington, D.C. from June 16, 2026 - August 15, 2026. MPA may consider full remote candidates. You will earn $25/hour.

What You Will Do:
- Analyze data like IP addresses and usage patterns to help identify content pirates
- Identify and investigate criminal activity relating to IP violations
- Keep investigation records up to date in Kaseware
- Assist in creating simple case reports
- Collaborate with our experienced team to help move cases from start to finish
- Execute OSINT investigation requests in a timely manner providing objective reporting in a standardized format
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Candidates must have detailed skills in OSINT and attribution methods, including social media research
- Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Education:
- Major or coursework in cyber security
