Molding Maintenance Engineer

Qualifications Strong knowledge of injection molding machine maintenance (ENGEL, ARBURG, PIOVAN preferred). 4–7 years experience in industrial maintenance (preferably plastics/injection molding). Experience with ENGEL, ARBURG, or similar machines is a strong advantage. Solid understanding of: -Hydraulics and pneumatics -Electrical systems (sensors, heaters, wiring, PLC I/O) -Mechanical systems (clamping units, injection units, screws/barrels) -Automation and machine controls (ENGEL CC300, ARBURG Selogica/Gestica) Ability to read: -Electrical diagrams -Hydraulic schematics -Mechanical drawings Experience with: -Troubleshooting alarms and machine shutdowns -Preventive corrective maintenance -Calibration and parameter adjustment -Spare parts management Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation issues. Troubleshoot alarms, sensor failures, injection/press issues, and machine instability. Maintain plasticizing units, heaters, thermocouples, pumps, valves, and lubrication systems. Optimize machine performance to reduce downtime and improve cycle time. Keep maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and machine documentation up to date. Ensure safety compliance and support continuous improvement in production.
