Mold Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance (Primary Responsibility) Develop, plan, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all molds. Ensure PM standards are applied consistently to increase mold reliability and lifespan. Analyze PM results and propose improvements (cooling efficiency, venting, guiding, lubrication…). Monitor mold condition through periodic inspections and define maintenance levels (MM1-MM3). Coordination for Corrective (Curative) Maintenance Act as the main coordinator with the Toolshop team for all mold repairs. Ensure proper diagnosis of mold breakdowns and confirm repair priorities. Follow up the progress of curative repairs and ensure full documentation of actions taken. Validate mold functionality after repair before return to production. Communicate with production, quality, and toolshop to minimize downtime. New Projects Industrialization Support the onboarding of new molds (BIM, MBE, eTIB, zRLE, IML). Ensure PM standards are defined before introducing new molds into production. Participate in acceptance tests and technical reviews with suppliers. Provide technical feedback to improve mold robustness during project launches. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or Tooling Engineering (or equivalent). Good knowledge of injection molds and preventive maintenance methods. Ability to read 2D/3D technical drawings. Experience in mold maintenance or injection molding environment (2–5 years preferred). Strong coordination skills with Toolshop for curative repairs. Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Familiar with root‑cause problem‑solving tools (5 Why, QRQC).
