Position Summary:
The Attendant/Cashier is responsible for all point of sale and supporting transactions with internal and external Food and Beverage customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Takes guests orders in a timely fashion
- Responsible for serving, bussing and streamlining service at table and counter seating
- Actively up sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains all legal beverage service guidelines
- Prepares and breaks down service stations in accordance with dining room standards
- Assists guests with any general casino information, when needed
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, glassware, garnishes and beverage service techniques
- Knowledge and skill in all check reconciliation procedures including, cash, comps, credit cards, coupons, players club points, vouchers and gift cards
Training Requirements:
- Previous food server or cashiering experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and bending
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
