Model-Based Systems Chief Architect
Lead SoS requirement definition and decomposition for DC datacenter architectures, spanning electrical, thermal, mechanical, control, and operational domains. Translate customer VOC into structured engineering requirements, functional behaviors, constraints, and use cases. Maintain rigorous requirement traceability across architecture elements, system analyses, and verification artifacts. Ensure appropriate requirement allocation across subsystem teams (power electronics, software, FW, controls, mechanical, thermal, protection) Define scalable, modular, and reusable architectures for DC datacenter systems using SysML or equivalent system‑level modeling languages. Lead MBSE workflows including functional architecture, behavioral modeling, interfaces, state‑based behavior, and system interactions across multi‑domain architectures. Maintain a consistent digital thread linking requirements → architecture → system models → verification assets. Coordinate with Model‑Based Engineering (ES‑A) and system modeling teams to ensure alignment between architecture definitions and analysis models. Serve as the primary systems‑engineering authority for DC datacenter architecture across Applications, Product Engineering, Power Systems Modeling, and MBE teams. Lead alignment across engineering functions to ensure that architecture, requirements, and analysis activities remain synchronized. Mentor teams on systems engineering fundamentals, MBSE practices, requirements engineering, and architectural thinking. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum 15 years of Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture experience with cyber-physical or power-centric systems Master's degree or specialization in Systems Engineering, Power Systems, Controls, Cyber‑Physical Systems from an accredited institution Systems engineering certifications (INCOSE ASEP/CSEP/ESEP). Experience in converter‑dominated architectures, datacenter power systems, or multi‑domain modeling and analysis. Experience with modern MBSE toolchains for linking requirements, architectures, and system‑analysis workflows. Experience working in integrated programs spanning hardware, software, firmware, protection, modeling, and system validation. Experience in requirements engineering, functional architecture, system decomposition, and MBSE workflows (SysML, System Composer, etc.). Experience contributing to DFSS‑aligned workflows including QFD, CTQ flow‑down, and system‑level risk management. We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees. Our recruitment processes use balanced selection criteria and avoid unlawful discrimination against applicants on the basis of their age, colour, disability, marital status, national origin, gender, gender identity, genetic information, race or racial origin, religion, sexual orientation or any other status protected or required by law. Support QFD development, CTQ identification, and requirement mapping — ensuring these link properly into system requirements and architecture. Participate in system‑level FMEA, hazard analysis, and risk‑reduction activities.
