Mobile Maintenance Technician

Brief Description: This role is responsible for performing mobile maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have broad mechanical experience and the ability to work independently in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with preventive maintenance on all mobile equipment
- Maintain tires on all mobile equipment
- Communicate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities
- Clean and maintain work areas daily
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance standards
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to log activities and work orders in a database
- Forklifts and material-handling equipment
- Locomotives or rail equipment
- Automobiles, trucks, or similar vehicles
- Diesel and gasoline engines
