- Collaborate with product, design and backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure a smooth cross-platform experience.
- Build with a security mindset: follow secure storage/transport patterns and handle sensitive financial data with care.
- Instrument what you build: add analytics events, structured logs and crash reporting; help monitor dashboards.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to CI/CD workflows, and keep the codebase healthy through small, continuous refactors.
- Support releases and help triage production issues with guidance from senior engineers (runbooks, feature flags/kill-switches).
- Learn from and collaborate with senior engineers; optionally mentor interns or juniors on specific tasks as you grow.
- Attribution (nice to have): exposure to SKAdNetwork, AdAttributionKit, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and Meta attribution flows.
- 2–4 years of professional software development, including 2+ years of commercial React Native (TypeScript) experience.
- Shipped and supported production apps on iOS and/or Android; familiarity with platform tooling, app lifecycles and app store processes.
- Secure mobile development fundamentals: encryption in transit/at rest, Keychain/Keystore basics, and awareness of OWASP mobile guidance.
- Authentication & authorisation: practical experience integrating OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect and handling sessions on mobile.
- Solid testing habits: write and maintain unit/component tests and run them in CI.
- Backend integration experience (REST and/or GraphQL), including auth flows, resilience and error handling.
- A pragmatic approach to production ownership: telemetry, debugging and incident mitigation alongside senior engineers.
- Clear, considerate communication and a collaborative approach with product/design/QA and other engineers.
