We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile Architect to join our team.


Summary

As a Mobile Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and ensuring scalability, performance, and security across both iOS and Android applications using cross platform Titanium SDK. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance, high-availability mobile solutions.

Prefer to have both Hybrid and Native Mobile development experience.

  • Deep technical knowledge:
    • Platforms: Expertise in iOS and Android development environments (Xcode, Android Studio) using Titanium SDK.
    • Languages & Frameworks: Cross-Platform Development, Jetpack Compose, Native, Java Script, Swift, SwiftUI, SPM (Swift Package Manager) and working with mobile Apps based on SPM Feature architecture (Fabric, TurboModules) and Titanium SDK, MVVM, MVP, VIPER, Redux.
    • Architecture Patterns: Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns and architectures, such as MVVM, MVI, MVP, and Clean Architecture.
    • APIs and Backends: Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile applications with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
    • Problem-solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to debug complex issues.
    • Performance Tunning and scalability: Ability to do performance tunning root cause identification.
  • Good to have:
  • Experience with SwiftData and Swift6 APIs (e.g. Sendable, MainActors etc)
  • Experience with Objective-C and CocoaPods

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, high-performance, and secure mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, including native and cross-platform solutions.
  • Define the overall mobile technology strategy and create architectural blueprints that align with business objectives.
  • Select the appropriate technology stack, frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Hybrid & Native), and tools for mobile application development.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mobile development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct architectural and code reviews to ensure adherence to established standards, best practices, and overall architectural vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest mobile technology trends and innovations to recommend new tools and practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance bottlenecks throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and maintenance, often in an Agile environment.
