Microsoft Technical Alliance Specialist

Role Overview

The Microsoft Technical Alliance Specialist will support Logitech’s growth objectives for its Video Collaboration & B2B business by assisting in technology initiatives with Microsoft. Guided by the Senior Microsoft Technical Alliance Manager, this role combines coordination and hands-on execution responsibilities, helping to execute partnership activities and ensure smooth integration of Logitech and Microsoft solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms HW/SW hands-on laboratory to validate new features, prepare devices for certification, support proof of concepts, assist QA, internal IT teams and external customers with Teams Rooms related features

  • Support product, engineering, marketing, and commercial teams by helping implement and track joint initiatives, product integrations, and troubleshooting processes.

  • Coordinate communication across internal teams (e.g., QA, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Product Development) to enable successful collaboration with Microsoft.

  • Help create and maintain technical documentation, sales enablement materials, and partner-focused content for Microsoft solutions.

  • Participate in planning and executing partner-focused events, tradeshows, and pilot programs, working alongside senior team members.

  • Contribute to the preparation and administration of product certification programs.Support maintenance of test environments and release preparation and metrics tracking, under manager supervision.

  • Support team efforts in developing competitive positioning and evaluating joint solution opportunities.

  • Assist the Sr. Microsoft Technical Alliance Manager with day-to-day partnership activities between Logitech and Microsoft.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in a technical or customer-supporting role. 

  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (product, engineering, marketing, sales).

  • Recent college graduates with strong technical skills and relevant projects will be considered.

  • Interest in videoconferencing and collaboration technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or related field required.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute recurring operational tasks with consistency, accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to alliance or partnership activities is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience with project coordination or technical support is desirable.

  • Knowledge of collaboration platforms (Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Zoom).

  • Enthusiasm for technology innovation and teamwork.

Location & Work Model

This role is based in San Jose, CA and requires in-office presence at least three days per week to support hands-on device validation, lab coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation:

This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 102,000 and $ 140,000 .In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
