MES Analyst / Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implementation and support of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Analysis and documentation of the production processes and its interrelationships.
Elaboration of the specification together with all process participants such as production, quality and PI as well as external service providers.
Testing, release and implementation of the new or existing functions.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for MES systems.
Supporting internal projects and location rollouts of manufacturing systems at plant production facilities.
Collaboration with diverse, global and cross functional teams for system integration and rollout.
Strong in documentation and implementation of identified improvements.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2-3 years working with MES related environment in manufacturing. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
Experience in working with SAP ERP, SAP ME, SAP DM or any other Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Experience with intermediate manufacturing processes, equipment (ICT, AOI, final test, laser marking, etc.) and devices (barcode scanner, label printer) interfacing with MES, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Experience in the analysis of production process and documentation with standard methods.
Experience in the field of production (SMT, Backend, Final Assembly) and/or logistics.
Knowledge in intermediate level with SQL scripting language with Oracle server database and/or MS SQL.
Strong technical skill with Web/GUI application development, preferable strong in C#, C++/CVI, PHP, CSS and Java.
Provide training to production personnel for new projects and enhancements.
Support central projects implementation and rollout at location.
Good communication skills and open to work in a global team.
Availability to support off-hour operations when required.
