We are currently looking for a talented 03-10 Years of experience in Construction industry for MEP Site Engineer (Mechanical) on 1 year renewable contract basis to join our team in Mumbai. Job role will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management
. Execution, Quality & Compliance
- Site Supervision: Oversee all finishing works including tiling, flooring, false ceilings, and wall partitions, ensuring execution aligns precisely with approved shop drawings.
- Quality Control: Conduct mandatory Quality Inspections (QCs) at all critical stages. Verify material quality and manage quality checklists (ITPs) to proactively identify and resolve non-conformities.
- Reporting & Schedule: Monitor daily progress against the project schedule and immediately report any deviations or delays to the Project Manager.
2. Coordination and Project Closeout
- Contractor Management: Coordinate daily activities, site logistics, and material staging with all sub-contractors (Civil and MEP) to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Closeout: Meticulously manage the entire snagging and de-snagging process to achieve successful client handover and finalize closeout documentation.
- Payment Verification: Verify completed work and recommend payment certificates for sub-contractors based on measured progress and quality adherence.
- Co-ordination with multiple stakeholders for the overall projects, i.e. Client, Architects, design consultants, MEPF consultant, procurement, accounts etc.
- Sourcing suitable resources for execution of works, finalisation of GCC and SCC, Negotiation with vendors and issuance of work orders, Site mobilisation plans & establishing temporary infrastructure for smooth project execution.
- Planning, scheduling and resource allocation to meet overall project timeline.
- Implementation and adherence to organization quality, safety standards, building culture to maintain same.
Important Note
As a Japanese organization, we uphold a disciplined approach to work, which includes a clear structure around working hours. Our office operates firmly from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday(As per nature of business and requirement may have to work on weekends) We appreciate adherence to these timings.
