The Healthcare Nutrition (Medical Affairs) department is recruiting a Medical Representative. The position is based in Ethiopia, JIMMA. MY MAIN ACTIVITIES Periodically visit a defined list of healthcare professionals to build strong relationships and become their preferred brand Organize the presence of our brands in public and private healthcare institutions in compliance with local regulations Through adapted scientific and commercial arguments and good relationships, encourage healthcare professionals to recommend or prescribe our products. Continuously seek to improve relationships and services with healthcare professionals Communicate effective messages to all healthcare professionals and KOLs, using appropriate techniques and tools Organize events for healthcare professionals, with specially selected speakers, either in healthcare institutions or suitable venues Create a network of key prescribers and KOLs In some countries, provide training for pharmacists and sellers, upon request from DNAO commercial team Identify business opportunities in the sector and propose initiatives to achieve objectives Understand competitor activities and recommend actions to counter them to help protect our market positions Maintain a high level of scientific and product knowledge to provide reliable and credible information to all healthcare professionals Propose a sector action plan to the HN Manager, in line with the pre-set budget, and monitor the budget and action plan using key performance indicators (KPIs) Write and present regular reports on activities, according to predefined formats and schedules Regularly update the healthcare professional database in accordance with internal procedures and processes Ensure all activities comply with the WHO Code and local regulations regarding infant formula Ensure compliance with Danone Nutricia ELN policies Participate in team meetings to discuss the market, challenges, and successes Work closely with team members and ensure progress on individual and collective KPIs Work in synergy with pharmaceutical delegates: events, products, sector management information Identify changes and trends among healthcare professionals in their decision-making, needs, and concerns Collect all information about the healthcare professional universe and identify new contacts Identify emerging future KOLs Evaluate all competitor activities, including medical events, and report to the HN Manager About You Education: University degree or higher education (Bachelor +3); at least two years of training in a scientific field (Biology, Food Science, Nutrition, etc.) Experience: 2 years as a medical or sales representative Languages: French (to be completed according to the country) Organization Chart: Reports to the Regional HN Manager Essential Contributions Growth of the country’s CANN Credibility of the company and its brands Brand awareness, image, and services Share of voice of the company in the country Skills Scientific / nutrition knowledge Sales techniques Communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organizational skills Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Attitudes Openness Empathy Active listening Business orientation Analytical and synthesis skills We are proud to promote diversity and equal opportunities within our teams.
