Mechanical Field Engineer

A Field Engineer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and documenting project information throughout the duration of an assigned project. Communicate project impacts with the project team and customers. Compile weekly reports for the project team and monthly reports for the Senior Management team. This position requires an individual with strong problem-solving skills and decision-making skills. They must be able to work with multiple diverse teams and independently with minimal supervision.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Create, monitor, and maintain work packages with the Project Manager.
Perform 3D Model bill of material take offs for the created work packages.
Monitor and maintain updates for an Earned Value tracker with the Project Manager.
Monitor and communicate the change in sequencing of large project schedules.
Monitor and communicate the extension or acceleration of large project schedule durations.
Coordinate and facilitate weekly project update meetings.
Monitor Requests for Information (RFI), Submittals, and Change Order Requests throughout several projects.
Assist with project documentation (Change Orders, Equipment Arrival Dates, etc.) throughout a project.
Enter and navigate project repositories such as Procore and Dilling Group store drives.
Perform Lessons Learned Reviews throughout a project.
Performs work that aligns and follows company standards and policies.
Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient in Procore.
Proficient in Navisworks.
One or more years of onsite project experience.
Two or more years of office business experience.
Two or more years of experience in the construction or project management industry.
Valid / Current state driver’s license (Preferred)
