Senior AEM Developer

Role Overview:

As a Senior AEM Developer, you will join the eCommerce Engineering team to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of key eCommerce and internal system initiatives. In this hands-on, individual contributor role, you will leverage your expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Java/J2EE, Vue.js, and other front-end technologies to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:

• In this role, you will work independently with minimal supervision while taking ownership of complex technical problem statements.

• You will define the technical architecture for assigned projects and ensure that proposed solutions are scalable and maintainable.

• The position requires mentoring and guiding junior team members as needed, along with actively collaborating with architects and cross‑functional teams.

• You will participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, to uphold high engineering standards.

• This role also involves interacting with peer teams across global locations and reviewing requirement documents or PRDs to analyze and implement effective solutions.

• Strong analytical abilities are essential, as you will evaluate multiple solution approaches and identify options that ensure high performance and ease of long‑term maintenance.

About Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is an AEM Developer with 9 to 12 years of deep, hands‑on experience in Adobe Experience Manager, including AEM Cloud and versions 6.5 and above.

• You will be responsible for coding, customizing, and extending AEM capabilities to build high‑performance, scalable, and enterprise‑grade digital platforms.

• Strong programming expertise in Java 8+, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL (Sightly), along with knowledge of Vue.js, Vuex, Vue Router, and optionally Node.js, is required.

• Experience with dispatcher configurations, caching, CDN integration, custom workflows, event listeners, schedulers, JSON, REST, GraphQL APIs, and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and AEM Mocks is expected.

• Familiarity with Maven, Git, Jenkins/CI‑CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and experience in the e‑commerce domain and Copilot usage will be considered strong advantages.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to succeed in this role.
