Job Description:
The Material Handler – Shipping is responsible for preparing, moving, and shipping materials and finished goods in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. This role supports daily warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring orders are correctly picked, packed, labeled, and dispatched according to company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Stage, and prepare materials and finished goods for shipment
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment
Verify shipping documents, packing lists, and labels for accuracy
Package products according to shipping specifications to prevent damage
Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse management systems
Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
Keep shipping and staging areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and production teams to meet deadlines
Perform other job related tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
Ability to read work orders, shipping instructions, and labels
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $19.00 - $23.00.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
