We are seeking a Recruiter to join our Experienced Hire Recruitment team at Mercer, playing a key role in building Oliver Wyman’s new hub in Lisbon.
Please note, this role is offered on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the office.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Experienced Hire Recruiter
coordinates the day-to-day operations of recruiting of consultants for France, ensuring that hiring goals are achieved while addressing the logistical, geographical and branding issues of recruiting experienced consultants with a focus on building a diverse candidate pool.
We will count on you to:
Sourcing candidates for all Practice Groups within predominately the French market using a variety of channels including direct applications, employee referral programmes, direct sourcing efforts, job board postings
Setting and managing expectations of Partner and Consulting staff across Practice Groups with regard to recruitment targets and timelines
Defining required skill set and screening criteria for the open positions with the individual Practice Group and the respective geography, ensure consistency in standards and quality across Europe
Reviewing and processing CVs according to the defined criteria and coordinate screening by Practice Groups.
Providing regular updates on the candidate pipeline to the responsible Partner in the Practice Group and European Head of Recruiting Management
Working together with Executive Assistant responsible for scheduling interviews for all interviewing rounds, communicating with those relevant to the process.
Coordinating feedback and offer process, ensuring evaluation and hiring guidelines are followed.
Obtaining necessary approvals and offer letter documents using Oliver Wyman formatting styles and obtain references.
Providing insight and manage local operational/contractual nuances for European Geographies
Coordinating and assisting in the new hire process and on-boarding procedures, including managing start dates
Liaising with HC Services team to ensure files are complete, sign-on bonuses are paid, visa issues are identified, etc.
Working with Talent Management, Training and Operations teams to ensure successful integration of new staff
Maintaining/updating recruiting IT system (WorkDay)and required databases to ensure accuracy of information for firm use
Assisting with other areas of recruitment projects as required.
What makes you stand out?
Fluency of written and spoken English and French
You’ll have full end to end recruiting life cycle experience 3-6 years of experience either working internally as a recruiter or for a head-hunter
Experience within a professional services or management consulting firm is preferred
Direct sourcing experience and a successful track record of creating diverse pipelines is essential
Your Technical skills will be:
Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is essential – Workday is advantageous
Strong MS Office skills are essential – Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required
