Marketplace Business Development Manager (m/f/d)
About the role:
In this role, you will drive the growth of our marketplace by building and developing key accounts across multiple European markets. You will combine strategic sales with hands-on execution, directly impacting seller performance, revenue growth, and international expansion.
About your tasks:
- You own the end-to-end development of key accounts across multiple European markets (DE/AT/IT/BE)
- You identify, acquire, and grow top-tier sellers and high-potential accounts, building long-term partnerships
- You manage the full lifecycle from acquisition and onboarding to scaling and international expansion of your sellers
- You lead complex contract negotiations on senior level and define commercial conditions independently
- You leverage data-driven analysis (including deep Excel dives) to optimize performance and unlock growth opportunities

About you:
- You bring 3+ years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, ideally within e-commerce or marketplace environments
- You have proven experience managing high-revenue accounts and leading complex negotiations
- You combine a strong sales mindset with data-driven decision making, and are confident working with Excel and large datasets
- You communicate fluently in English and German and feel comfortable in international, cross-functional teams
